Very expected game in Istanbul where 10th rankedDarica (5-8) was rolled over by fifth ranked Fenerbahce (9-5) 77-57 on Friday. Fenerbahce G. had a 33-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Ece Erginay who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. American center Jada Rice (193-1999, college: Alabama) helped adding 9 points and 11 rebounds. Fenerbahce's coach Ayca Yilmaz used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-1996, college: Baylor) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Brittany Byrd (176-1996, college: UIC) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for Fenerbahce . Fenerbahce G. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Turgutlu. Newly promoted Darica keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. They share it with Burhaniye and Adana.
