There was a minor upset when 8th rankedDarussafaka Lassa (7-9) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked TED Ankara (7-9) 81-67 on Friday. TED Ankara had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) who scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Tayfun Erulku chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. point guard Eray Aydogan (185-2000) produced 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and American-Israeli center Alex Tyus (203-1988, college: Florida) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for TED Ankara . They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Darussafaka and Kahramanmaras.
