No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedBotas (7-5) crushed 8th ranked Kayseri (3-8) in Adana 93-72 on Saturday. Botas looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Naturalized German forward Tuba Poyraz (182-2001, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winning side and American point guard Kiana Williams (170-1999, college: Stanford) accounted for 18 points and 6 assists. Irish-Australian swingman Alice Kunek (185-1991) came up with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Charli Collier (196-1999, college: Texas) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Kayseri in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Botas moved-up to fifth place. Loser Kayseri keeps the eighth position with eight games lost.
