Regular Season Round 17: Kocaeli - iLab 79-89

Bottom-rankediLab managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses on Monday night. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked Kocaeli in Izmit 89-79 . iLab made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for iLab especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard TreVion Crews (183-1996, college: Bethel, IN) who scored 30 points, 6 assists and 5 steals (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Nigerian-American center OD Anosike (203-1991, college: Siena) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Five iLab players scored in double figures. American point guard Keshun Sherrill (175-1994, college: Augusta) produced 21 points and 7 assists and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Kocaeli's coach Ahmet Yolcu rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. iLab (4-12) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Kocaeli and Balikesir BBS. Kocaeli lost their eighth game in a row.
