No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedMersin (8-3) defeated at home 6th ranked Botas (7-6) 101-89 . Mersin players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. American guard Kennedy Burke (185-1997, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Lithuanian center Egle Sventoraite (198-1991) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Mersin players scored in double figures. Brazilian forward Damiris Dantas (191-1992) replied with 32 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American point guard Kiana Williams (170-1999, college: Stanford) added 25 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Botas. Mersin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Emlak. Botas at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost.
