Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Istanbul:Erokspor (#7) and Efes (#6). Erokspor (10-6) won against visiting Efes (9-7) 90-79 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Efes. Erokspor made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jordon Crawford (168-1990, college: BGSU, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 assists and the other American import center Jeremy Simmons (204-1989, college: Charleston) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Simmons is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side international power forward Ercan Osmani (213-1998) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and American Saben Lee (188-1999, college: Vanderbilt) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erokspor have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Anadolu Efes at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Galatasaray.
