Rather predictable result in Istanbul where third rankedEmlak (10-3) defeated 5th ranked Botas (8-7) 79-62 . Emlak players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by the former international Melek Uzunoglu (187-2002) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American-Cameroonian guard Jessica Thomas (168-1994, college: Miami, FL) supported her with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Emlak players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by Brazilian forward Damiris Dantas (191-1992) did not help to save the game for Botas . Finnish guard Sara Bejedi (170-2000, college: FSU) added 17 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Emlak maintains third position with 10-3 record having just three points less than leader Fenerbahce. Botas at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost.
