There was a minor upset in Istanbul where 7th rankedKahramanmaras (8-11) was defeated by tenth ranked Darussafaka Lassa (8-11) 84-76 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was point guard Eray Aydogan (185-2000) who scored 22 points and 5 assists. Center Ismail Karabilen (206-2001) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Four Darussafaka Lassa players scored in double figures. American point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU, agency: BIG) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Burak Gozeneli (190-2000) added 17 points respectively for the guests. Kahramanmaras' coach Serkan Erdogan rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Darussafaka moved-up to seventh place, which they share with TED Ankara and Kahramanmaras.
