Very expected game when 12th rankedDarica (6-10) lost to fifth ranked Kirklareli (12-4) in Koaceli 64-74 on Saturday. Kirklareli looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Oyku Taskin (172-2000) who led the winners and scored 23 points. American point guard Nyla Jean (168-2002, college: Southern Miss) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Jean is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-1996, college: Baylor) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Brittany Byrd (176-1996, college: UIC) added 30 points respectively for Darica in the defeat. Kirklareli moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Darica dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Adana.
