There was a small surprise in Bursa where sixteenth rankedFinal Spor (7-15) defeated 13th ranked Kocaeli (7-15) 77-65 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) who scored 21 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Mustafa Gorur (204-1988) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) added 12 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Final Spor moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Kocaeli and Balikesir BBS.
