They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Canakkale 's 28. Botas forced 21 Canakkale turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian forward Damiris Dantas (191-1992) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds and Finnish guard Sara Bejedi (170-2000, college: FSU) who added 19 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Botas players scored in double figures. Sila Kaya (-2001) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dilara Tongar (169-1991) scored 14 points and 6 assists. Botas maintains fifth position with 9-8 record, which they share with Nesibe. Newly promoted Canakkale still closes the standings.
