Everything went according to plan when seventh rankedTurk Telekom (6-3) defeated 14th ranked Buyukcekmece (1-8) in Ankara 85-71 on Sunday. Turk Telekom outrebounded Buyukcekmece 46-34 including a 39-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Turk Telekom shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Buyukcekmece 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Turk Telekom made 10 blocks. Salih Yaman (-2007) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks for the winning side and power forward Omer Can (204-2007) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds. Yigit Sezer came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and Muaz Yuksel (-2007) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Buyukcekmece in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Besiktas and Karsiyaka. Buyukcekmece lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with eight games lost.
