Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenGoztepe (14-10) and iLab (8-16), which took place in Izmir. Higher ranked Goztepe lost at home to fifteenth ranked iLab 60-66 on Saturday. iLab made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. iLab outrebounded Goztepe 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Eray Akyuz (187-2000) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. point guard Batuhan Acar (179-2002) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four iLab players scored in double figures. iLab's coach Ertug Tuzcukaya used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and American point guard Jordan Barnes (178-1997, college: Indiana St.) added 12 points and 7 assists in the effort for Goztepe. iLab moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Kocaeli. Goztepe at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost.
