There was a small surprise when sixteenth rankedBalikesir BBS (9-18) won against at home 13th ranked Final Spor (9-18) 82-72 on Sunday. Balikesir BBS made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Berkay Genc (205-1996) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Fred Cleveland Jr (178-2001, college: NCCU) supported him with 20 points and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). Balikesir BBS's coach Alaeddin Yakan used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by American center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) did not help to save the game for Final Spor . Ahmet Tunali (203-1992) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Balikesir BBS moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Final Spor and iLab.
