A very close game took place in Bursa (derby !!!) betweenTofas and Bursaspor . Ninth ranked Tofas (10-12) got a very close victory on the road over 13th ranked Bursaspor (6-16). Tofas managed to escape with a 2-point win 115-113 on Sunday evening. Tofas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Lithuanian center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and French Hugo Besson (191-2001) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Brandon Childress (183-1997, college: Wake Forest) responded with 31 points and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and his fellow American import point guard Mike Smith (180-1997, college: Michigan) scored 20 points and 7 assists. Five Tofas and four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Bursaspor's coach Ahmet Caki rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tofas maintains ninth position with 10-12 record. Bursaspor lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Petkim.
