An interesting game took place in Koaceli where higher rankedDarica (9-14) was upset on its own court by thirteenth ranked Bodrum (6-17) 81-76 . Bodrum players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Jacaira Allen (180-1998, college: ODU) notched a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Bre Gunnels (185-1999, college: UNI, agency: DC Sports) supported her with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Even 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds by American guard Brittany Byrd (176-1996, college: UIC) did not help to save the game for Darica . Defne Sahin (-2005) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. Four Darica players scored in double figures. Bodrum maintains thirteenth position with 6-17 record. Newly promoted Darica keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Mersin Secil.
