Regular Season Round 29: Cayirova - Gaziantep 96-93

The most exciting game of round 29 in the TBL took place in Kocaeli. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-rankedGaziantep (21-6) to first ranked Cayirova (23-5) 96-93 in the game for the first place. Cayirova made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. 33 personal fouls committed by Gaziantep helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American center Nysier Brooks (213-1996, college: Ole Miss, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import guard Roberto Gallinat (193-1996, college: Pacific, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 29 points and 7 assists. Guard Emir Sivas (176-2005) responded with 31 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian Zeljko Sakic (204-1988) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cayirova maintains first place with 23-5 record. Gaziantep lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with six games lost.
