Forward Utku Yucedag (198-1994) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian Zeljko Sakic (204-1988) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Mustafa Gorur (204-1988) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Kahlil Dukes (182-1995, college: Niagara) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 assists. Four Kocaeli players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gaziantep moved-up to second place. Kocaeli lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost.
