There was no surprise in Istanbul where 9th rankedTofas (10-14) was defeated by sixth ranked Efes (15-9) 92-82 on Sunday. Anadolu Efes made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Polish Jordan Loyd (193-1993, college: Indianapolis) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and international Erkan Yilmaz (192-1997) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Efes' coach Pablo Laso used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) with 21 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Jordan Floyd (188-1997, college: King) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Anadolu Efes maintains sixth position with 15-9 record. Tofas at the other side keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Merkezefendi.
