Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedOrmanspor (19-11) defeated 10th ranked Darussafaka Lassa (11-18) in Ankara 73-68 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import center Jacob Hutson (211-2002, college: UNI) accounted for 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Ormanspor's coach Emrah Benli used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Serbian power forward Aleksandar Zecevic (207-1996, college: FAU) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and center Ismail Karabilen (206-2001) added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Darussafaka in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Ormanspor . They maintain fifth place with 19-11 record. Loser Darussafaka Lassa keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost.
