Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedTofas (10-15) was outscored by fourth ranked Trabzonspor (17-8) in Bursa 91-71 on Saturday. Trabzonspor outrebounded Tofas 38-22 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Trabzonspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Dominican center Angel Delgado (210-1994, college: Seton Hall) nailed 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and American-Georgian Marcquise Reed (190-1995, college: Clemson, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 22 points. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Mexican-American point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-1993) came up with 15 points and 7 assists and Lithuanian center Marek Blazevic (209-2001) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tofas in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Trabzonspor maintains fourth place with 17-8 record. Tofas lost third consecutive game.
