Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedTED Ankara (14-15) was outscored on the road by second ranked Gaziantep (23-6) 95-70 on Saturday. Gaziantep looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Bosnian Rijad Avdic (201-1998) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian guard Nemanja Nenadic (197-1994) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) came up with 17 points and the other American import point guard Chris Warren (177-1988, college: Ole Miss) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for TED Ankara in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gaziantep maintains second place with 23-6 record having just three points less than leader Cayirova. Loser TED Ankara dropped to the eighth position with 15 games lost.
