No shocking result in a game when third rankedSamsun (20-5) crushed 9th ranked Darica (10-15) in Koaceli 92-73 . Samsun forced 27 Darica turnovers. Strangely Darica outrebounded Samsun 49-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward DreUna Edwards (183-2000, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals and guard Leilani McIntosh (168-2000, college: California) who added 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Samsun's coach Murat Saat used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Dekeiya Cohen (188-1996, college: Baylor) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and guard Brittany Byrd (176-1996, college: UIC) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Darica players scored in double figures. Samsun have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-5 record behind leader Istanbul GSK. Newly promoted Darica keeps the ninth place with 15 games lost.
