The most important game in the last round took place in Balikesir between third rankedBordo (23-8) and fourteenth ranked Balikesir BBS (11-19) on Thursday night. Bordo was defeated by Balikesir BBS in a tough game on the road 68-76 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Bordo. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Fred Cleveland Jr (178-2001, college: NCCU) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 9 assists and swingman Arda Kaya (193-2000) who added 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The former international swingman Okben Ulubay (201-1997) responded with 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Azerbaijani Orhan Haciyeva (201-1989) scored 7 points and 13 rebounds. Bordo's coach Semih Soguksu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Balikesir BBS moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Darussafaka. Bordo at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Balikesir BBS is looking forward to face higher ranked Fenerbahce 2 (#7) in Istanbul in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bordo will play at home against Haremspor (#15) and is hoping to win this game.
