Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Istanbul:Besiktas (#2) and Bahcesehir (#3). Besiktas (22-4) won against visiting Bahcesehir (19-7) 87-80 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Bahcesehir. Besiktas made 24-of-27 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Croatian center Ante Zizic (210-1997) notched 26 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and American-Jamaican Brynton Lemar (193-1995, college: UC Davis) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Even 12 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists by American guard Malachi Flynn (185-1998, college: SDSU) did not help to save the game for Bahcesehir . His fellow American import swingman Caleb Homesley (198-1996, college: Liberty) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Four Bahcesehir players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Besiktas have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Fenerbahce. Bahcesehir at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost.
