Very expected game when 10th rankedEmlak 2 (10-17) was defeated on the road by third ranked Samsun (21-5) 80-70 on Saturday. Samsun forced 20 Emlak 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward DreUna Edwards (183-2000, college: Baylor) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 20 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 blocks. Her fellow American import guard Leilani McIntosh (168-2000, college: California) chipped in 19 points. point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) produced 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Nehir Ulufer (181-2005) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Emlak 2's coach Benan Uyar rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Samsun . They moved-up to second place. Loser Emlak 2 dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost.
