The most important game in the last round took place in Kahramanmaras between second rankedGaziantep (25-7) and ninth ranked Kahramanmaras Gaziantep was defeated by Kahramanmaras in a tough game on the road 97-103 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Gaziantep. Kahramanmaras made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Kahramanmaras looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Burak Gozeneli (190-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). American point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Croatian Zeljko Sakic (204-1988) replied with 25 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and point guard Yigitcan Turna (188-1987) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Gaziantep. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kahramanmaras moved-up to eighth place, which they share with TED Ankara. Gaziantep at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost.
