There was an upset when higher rankedTED Ankara (14-18) lost to twelfth ranked Darussafaka Lassa (12-20) in Istanbul 105-110 on Saturday. Darussafaka shot 61.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Darussafaka looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Forward Mert Sert (198-1996, college: UMass Dartmouth) notched 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American point guard Tavian Dunn-Martin (173-1998, college: FGCU) supported him with 24 points and 5 assists. Even 37 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 15-of-18 shooting from the field) by American point guard Chris Warren (177-1988, college: Ole Miss) did not help to save the game for TED Ankara . Swingman Burak Erol (197-1988) added 18 points and 6 assists for lost side. Five Darussafaka and four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. Darussafaka moved-up to eleventh place. TED Ankara lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Kahramanmaras.
