Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both sixteenth rankediLab and 17th ranked Kocaeli had identical 10-21 record. This time iLab used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Izmit 103-96 on Saturday night. iLab made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Guard Eray Akyuz (187-2000) notched 33 points (!!!) and 4 assists to lead the effort and American point guard TreVion Crews (183-1996, college: Bethel, IN) supported him with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-1989, college: USAO, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Kocaeli . American guard Kahlil Dukes (182-1995, college: Niagara) added 17 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kocaeli's coach Ahmet Yolcu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. iLab (11-21) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Balikesir BBS and Haremspor. Loser Kocaeli stay at the bottom position with 22 games lost.
