The most crucial game of the last round was a loss ofFrankivsk-Hal. in Ivano-Frankivsk on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Rivne 90-84 . The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 6 points. Rivne made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Frankivsk-Hal. turnovers. Strangely Frankivsk-Hal. outrebounded Rivne 55-42 including 23 on the offensive glass. 31 personal fouls committed by Frankivsk-Hal. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international guard Viktoria Shmatova (171-1987, agency: BIG) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists. Center Angelina Hryhoruk (180-2005) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Anastasiia Shepeliuk (175-2005) replied with 38 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Anastasiia Borovska (177-2007) added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Frankivsk-Hal.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
