There was no surprise in Kyiv where 7th rankedPoltava (1-4) was crushed by second ranked MOBI-SDYUSHOR (6-2) 69-42 . The game was mostly controlled by MOBI-SDYUSHOR. Poltava was better in fourth quarter 17-13 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MOBI-SDYUSHOR dominated on the defensive end, holding Poltava to just 6 points in first and third quarters. MOBI-SDYUSHOR forced 40 Poltava turnovers and outrebounded them 41-29 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kateryna Kolomiiets orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Kateryna Kovalenko contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. MOBI-SDYUSHOR's coach Maria Dubas felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Viktoria Shmatova (171-1987, agency: BIG) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Anna Cherep added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Poltava. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for MOBI-SDYUSHOR . Newly promoted MOBI-SDYUSHOR maintains second place with 6-2 record having just two point less than leader Frankivsk-Hal. Poltava lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with four games lost.
