Rather predictable result when fifth rankedKozachka-KPU (4-4) won against 9th ranked Mykolaiv (1-7) in Zaporozhye 82-71 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Kozachka-KPU. Mykolaiv managed to win third quarter 24-20 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Viktoriia Onishchenko notched 30 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Valeriya Kutsenko supported her with 27 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds by Vladyslava Bronska did not help to save the game for Mykolaiv . Valeriia Stetsiuk added 9 points and 11 rebounds. Four Mykolaiv players scored in double figures. Kozachka-KPU moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KhAI-Kharkiv. Mykolaiv lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Poltava.
