The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth rankedSambir 's (8-6) home victory over 5th ranked Niko Basket 2 (6-10) 75-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sambir. Niko Basket 2 managed to win fourth quarter 13-11 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was naturalized Nigerian center Oleksii Adediran (206-1982, college: Binghamton, agency: BIG) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Nikita Ruslov (195-1996, agency: BIG) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Four Sambir players scored in double figures. Sambir's coach Volodymyr Polyakh used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Vitaliy Volodin (198-2004) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and guard Ivan Filonenko (186-2003) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Sambir maintains fourth position with 8-6 record. Newly promoted Niko Basket 2 keeps the fifth place with ten games lost.
