Rather expected game when 5th rankedRivne (10-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Kyiv Basket (15-8) 78-70 on Saturday. Kyiv Basket made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Mykhaylo Bublyk (194-2003) who scored 28 points. Forward Yaroslav Karpiuk (201-2003) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Oleksandr Ponosov (187-2004, agency: BIG) who recorded 19 points and American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Rivne's coach Mikhail Pereverziy rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kyiv Basket maintains third place with 15-8 record having two points less than leader Krivbas. Loser Rivne keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost.
