There was no surprise in Zaporozhye where 5th rankedKozachka-KPU (7-7) was crushed by second ranked Frankivsk-Hal. (15-1) 86-58 on Saturday. The game without a history. Frankivsk-Hal. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Frankivsk-Hal. outrebounded Kozachka-KPU 36-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Frankivsk-Hal. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Anastasiia Borovska (177-2007) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Forward Dalila Murzova (169-2009) helped adding 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Valeriya Kutsenko (173-2007) responded with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals and naturalized Austrian guard Ninel Merkotun (172-2004) scored 10 points. Kozachka-KPU's coach already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Frankivsk-Hal. . They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Rivne. Loser Kozachka-KPU dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost.
