Rreshpja's 19 points and 7 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Bernarda Rreshpja put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Vllaznia Shkodra and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 19 points adding seven rebounds and six assists for Vllaznia in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Studenti (#5, 1-2) 63-61. Vllaznia is placed at 2nd position in Albanian Superliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Vllaznia will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Rreshpja turned to be Vllaznia's top player in her first season with the team. Rreshpja has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.7ppg and is league's best passer with 7.0apg. Rreshpja is in league's top in and averages solid 4.3spg and 55.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Marina Pellumbi (168-SG-2002) of Studenti Tirana. She is international guard in her 7th season at Studenti. In the last game Pellumbi recorded an impressive 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Studenti was edged by Vllaznia (2-1) 63-61. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Pellumbi is one of the most experienced players at Studenti and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 5.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Studenti's star - forward Martina Haxhiu (181-F/C-2006). Haxhiu scored 13 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Haxhiu's great performance the Studenti Tirana lost 61-63 to Vllaznia (#2, 2-1). But her team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. The chances of Studenti not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Haxhiu could try to bring Studenti's a little bit higher in the standings. Haxhiu has individually a great season in Albania. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.0rpg (#1 in league).
