Albanian Superliga round 4 best performance: Andjela Gligic

Bosnia and Herzegovina Point guard Andjela Gligic (169-PG-2000) had a great game in the last round for Partizani Tirana, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (29 points, eight rebounds and four assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Studenti (#5, 1-3) 80-71. Partizani is placed at 3rd position in Albanian Superliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Partizani will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Gligic had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Partizani's top player in her first season with the team.

The second best player in last round's games was American Lovely Sonnier (183-G) of league's leader SK Tirana. Sonnier had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Tirana to edge the lower-ranked Vllaznia (#4, 2-2) 62-58. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tirana consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Sonnier is a newcomer at Tirana, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 4.0apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Sophia Jacobsson (165-G-1999) of league's second-best Flamurtari Vlore. Jacobsson showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Flamurtari, leading her team to a 87-52 easy win against Sopoti (#6, 0-4). Flamurtari needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Jacobsson has a very solid season. In 3 games in Albania she scored 9.7ppg.
