Zlatorog was led by Jamar Abrams (201-G/F-89, college: E.Carolina) who posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Miha Vasl (192-G-92,) scored 12 points and Goran Jurak (202-F/C-77) 10. Zlatorog opened the game with a 12-0 run and was in front more than 30 minutes of the contest, but were forced to rally back in the final minutes. Helios took its first lead of the night at 51-50 early in the fourth quarter. Zlatorog retake the lead 55-51 and Helios answered with six straigt points to go up 57-55. Zlatorog tied the game at 57 with 5:20 remaining. At that point, Helios went on a crucial 7-0 run which Simo Atanackovic ended with a 3-pointer putting the score at 64-57. It was the largest lead of the game for Helios. Coach: Pipan. 2016 Alpe-Adria Cup 3rd place game: Prievidza-Zagreb 73-94 Zagreb took control of the game behind an 16-3 run for a 21-10 lead late in the first quarter and led by as many as 16 points before the break. Prievidza halved the deficit to 43-61, but Croatian team responded with a 15-4 run to go up 66-47. Luka Bozic (199-PG-96) scored 17 points for Zagreb Pavle Marcinkovic (199-G/F-89) 16, Ivan Majcunic (193-SG-96) and Miralem Halilovic (205-F-91) both posted 13 points and Ivan Batur (201-G-91) added 12. Prievidza had two players with a double-double performance. Mike Rostampour (203-F-91, college: Omaha) collected 23 points and 11 rebounds and Jaytornah Wisseh (185-PG-88, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 11 points and handed out 10 assists.
