Jakub Jokl, Czech forward from the runner-up team finalist team the Mistelbach Mustangs, was selected as the Bosman Player of the Year of Basketball Zweite Liga. He Is the Utah alumni from 2018. Jokl collected multiple other honors, was named to the First Team and Imports Team and Defensive Team. With Jokl's excellent performance, the runner-up team finalist team the Mistelbach Mustangs achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 19 to 3 in the regular season. His best performance made his team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Wagram 1 to 2. Jokl was previously honored as the Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, Bosman Player of the Year and 2025, earned a spot in the First Team back in 2024, Bosmans Team and Second Team last year. He received Player of the Week award in the league. Jokl averaged almost 16 points and over 9 rebounds per game in the league. He has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 12 games on the year. Jokl's 31 points against the Rapid were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Marcus Holyfield, 34-year old American guard from the Worthersee Piraten, earned the Guard of the Year at the Basketball Zweite Liga. He Is ex the Southern Methodist from 2013. Holyfield received multiple other awards, was voted to the First Team and Imports Team and Defensive Team. He was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2024, and selected to the Defensive Team and First Team last year. Holyfield recorded almost 18 points and 8 rebounds per game that season in the league. He has totalled 8 games of 20 or more points and logged double-doubles in 7 games on the year. Zdenek Nehyba, Czech center from the Mistelbach Mustangs, picked up the Center of the Year of Basketball Zweite Liga. Nehyba registered 19 points and over 4 rebounds per game over the season in the league. He has totalled 10 games of 20 or more points on the year and notched 30 or more points in 5 games. Nehyba's 44 points against Steiermark were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Kofi Hamilton, 26-year old American guard from the Dornbirn Lions, was voted to the First Team at the Basketball Zweite Liga. He Is alumni of the Rogers State from 2025. Hamilton was also selected to the Imports Team. He averaged 8 rebounds per game in the league. Hamilton led the 2.Bundesliga in points per game with over 29. He has totalled 19 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 10 games. Hamilton registered double-doubles in 6 games at the event. His 44 points against Salzburg were the most he scored in the 25 26 season. Among many awards Hamilton's team made it to the MIAA Tournament Semifinals in 2025. He was selected as the All-MIAA Honorable Mention in 2024.
