Austrian Basketball League (Basketball Zweite Liga) History

League status

The Basketball Zweite Liga is the second-tier professional basketball league in Austria. 2.Bundesliga was established in 1967.
The 2.Bundesliga sits above the U19 League which effectively forms the third-tier of Austrian basketball.
At the end of regular season, top 8 teams qualify to the play-offs.
