Piraten conquered Zweite Liga title. They rallied past Mustangs in the decider. The game was mostly controlled by Worthersee Piraten. Mustangs managed to win third quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Piraten looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Shawn Ray (196-1980, college: NCCU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian guard Elvis Keric (193-1998) helped adding 23 points and 8 assists. Four Worthersee Piraten players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Czech forward Jakub Jokl (211-1996, college: Utah) with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Czech center Zdenek Nehyba (197-1995) scored 18 points.

The standout American forward Shawn Ray was voted the Player of the Year of the championship-winning Worthersee Piraten. He graduated from the NCCU years ago. Ray received multiple other awards, was selected as the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, Forward of the Year, and was chosen to the First Team and Defensive Team. With Ray's excellent performance, the Worthersee Piraten achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 17 to 3 in the regular season. His excellent performance assisted his team in beating the Mustangs 2 to 1 in the final series. Ray was previously named to the Third Team back in 2022, Player of the Year, Forward of the Year back in 2023, Import Player of the Year and First Team back in 2023 and 2024. Ray's consistent performance as a playmaker earned him the third ranked in points per game, showcasing average of almost 22 and third in rebounds per game with an average of 10. With Mlodianovski's excellent performance, the Kufstein Towers achieved the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 16 to 4 in the regular season.
