Nikola Jovanovic (ex Limoges) is a newcomer at Vienna

Nikola Jovanovic

BC Vienna (BSL) strengthened their roster with the addition of 32-year-old Serbian ex-international 211cm power forward Nikola Jovanovic (college: USC). He played most recently at Limoges CSP Elite in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 26 games, he recorded 8.7ppg and 3.6rpg last season. It was a good year for him as he was voted League Player of the Week. The previous (2024-25) season, he played at Givova Scafati Basket (Serie A) in the Italian league.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
Jovanovic was also a member of the Serbian international program for some years. He played for Serbian Senior National Team between 2018 and 2019 and previously for the University National Team back in 2015.
Jovanovic is a very experienced player. Thanks to Jovanovic's pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America) in eight different countries. He has played professionally in Belgium (Antwerp Giants and Oostende), Bosnia (Igokea), Italy (Dolomiti Trentino), Mexico (Halcones UV Xalapa), Russia (BC Pari Nizhny Novgorod), Serbia (Crvena zvezda), and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold and Westchester Knicks).
Jovanovic's team won the BNXT Supercup in 2024. He was also selected as the Eurobasket.com All-BNXT League Sixth Man of the Year in 2024.
He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2016, and this will be his eleventh season in pro basketball.
