BC Vienna (BSL) signed 35-year-old American guard Mike Holton Jr., who stands at 186cm and played college basketball at St. Michael's. He is a familiar face in the Austrian BSL, having been the second-highest scorer for BK Karbon-X Dukes Klosterneuburg. During 23 BSL games last season, he averaged 12.4ppg, 2.0rpg, and 2.8apg. Holton Jr. also had a stint with another Austrian team, UBC St. Poelten, earlier in the same season.
Holton is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in Azerbaijan (Sabah), Cyprus (Apollon), France (Lille), Germany (TKS 49ers), Israel (Hapoel Ramat Gan Givataim), Ukraine (Zaporizhye), and The Basketball Tournament (Mental Toughness).
Among many awards, his team won the Azerbaijani League Group A Regular Season in 2025. Holton was voted to the Ukrainian Superleague All-Star Game back in 2019. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Vienna.
He graduated from St. Michael's College in 2015 and this will be his twelfth season in pro basketball.
