Rasta Vechta (BBL) signed 25-year old double-passport holder Austrian shooting guard Timo Lanmueller (193cm-83kg-2001) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He played last season at Artland in the ProA. In 36 games, he had 8.8ppg, 2.2rpg, and 1.7apg. During the previous (2024-25) season, he played at another German team Skyliners. He also played 16 games in BBL where he recorded just 2.2ppg in that year. Lanmueller helped them to make it to the German Cup Semifinals.
He represented Germany at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 5.8 points per game and had 2.6 rebounds per game.
Lanmueller has played previously for seven other teams: ratiopharm Ulm, Tigers, OrangeAcademy, BBU 01 Ulm, Ulm, OrangeAcademy, and BBU 01 Ulm.
Among many awards, Lanmueller's team was the regular season runner-up in German ProA in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Honorable Mention back in 2017.
