Bottom-ranked Turkish Galatasaray managed to get the sixth victory. This time they outleveled thirteenth-ranked Israeli Maccabi T-A in Istanbul 102-63. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 39-point difference suggests that Galatasaray is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.6 percent from the field. Galatasaray shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Maccabi T-A's players. Maccabi T-A's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Galatasaray (6-13) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with EA7 Armani and Maccabi T-A. Maccabi T-A lost their third game in a row. Galatasaray's next round opponent will be higher ranked Fenerbahce (#4) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
