Regular Season Round 9: FIATC Joventut - ALBA 75-79

The German champion ALBA Berlin made fantastic road victory in Badalona coming very close to Top 16. Both teams are on the same 4-5 record now, but ALBA would win any tie between them because of two regular season victories against the Spaniards. Even in case of three-way tie with Fenerbahce, DKV Joventut won't have a chance (2 defeats against Fener also). If ALBA succeeds to beat the last-ranked Union Olimpija in Berlin next week it will book a spot for the next stage. Immanuel McElroy led the scorers in ALBA with 26 points. Aleksandar Nadjfeji had double-double, 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Casey Jacobsen also scored 12 for the winners. Jan-Hendrick Jagla delivered 15 points for the hosts. Bracey Wright had 13. Eduardo Hernandez-Sonseca added 11 points and 7 rebounds.
