Regular Season Round 9: Zalgiris - Nancy 105-94

Zalgiris registered the second Euroleague victory reaching the same score as its yesterday's rival SLUC Nancy, 2-7. Third team of Group B with the same numbers is Asseco Prokom. As a reminder Zalgiris faced with seven consecutive defeats in the first seven rounds. Situation is complicated now. The Lithuanian champ will advance to the next stage in case of win in Barcelona and if either Nancy or Prokom lose. Nancy will continue its Euroleague session this season only if it wins while both Zalgiris and Prokom lose. If all three win or all three lose, Prokom advances by a three-point difference in games among the three. Anyway, Zalgiris’ best player yesterday night was Jonas Maciulis, who nailed 29 points. Dainius Salenga followed him with 18 pts and 5 rebs, while Paulius Jankunas added impressive 15 points and 17 boards. Nancy got the most points from Steed Tchicamboud, 21. Ricardo Greer also shined collecting 19 points 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
