Lottomatica finally made it in Top 16. After 5 consecutive defeats, the team from Rome was better than Partizan Belgrade, who already booked a spot for the quarterfinals two weeks ago. The key victory for the Serbian squad was the one against Unicaja in Malaga. With 1-5 Lottomatica is the last ranked team in Group G, while Partizan is No.2 with 4-2. Its rival in the quarterfinals will be the reigning Euroleague champion - CSKA Moscow (March 24th). Andre Hutson top-scored for the winners with 23 points. Panamanian Ruben Douglas, who joined Lottomatica recently from Pamesa Valencia, had 18 points. Ibrahim Jaaber added 17 and Luigi Datome stopped on 12 pts. Gabonese Stephane Lasme collected 17 points and 8 boards for the loosing side. Novica Velickovic posted 14 and Uros Tripkovic 12.
