Khimky grabbed thriller win in Game One, but this time they destroyed Pepsi Caserta 85-66. It means that the Russian squad will meet Budivelnyk in the next round. Benjamin Eze stepped up for the hosts with 14 points. Keith Langford was their most valuable player with valuation 21. He scored 13 points and handed out 6 assists to his teammates. Fedor Dmitriev had 12 and Vitaly Fridzon added two pointes less. In defeat, Ebi Ere exploded with 28 points. Jumaine Jones had double-double of 11 points and 11 boards. Except of the first quarter, which was pretty leveled (20-19), Khimky was totally dominating in this game. Keith Langford and his teammates shined offensively in the second quarter scoring 27 points, while at the same time they limited Italians to 13. The hosts slowed down after the breather letting Pepsi Caserta to cut the margin for five points and it was 62-52 after 30 minutes of play. It seems it was just a sign for the hosts to make another push, what they did in the last quarter. Khimky ended last ten minutes with nice 23-14 for the final 85-66 victory and a passage to the next round. There, Khimky will meet Budivelnyk.
