Olympiakos cruised past Lottomatica in Rome for 4-1 record in Group B. Ioannis Bourousis shined for the Greeks with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Milos Teodosic added 15 pts and 7 assists, while Vassilis Spanoulis helped with 14 pts. In Lottomatica (2-3), Andrea Crosariol had 17 points and 6 rebs. Joshua Heytvelt had 13 points and 7 rebs and was the last one with double-digits in scoring. Olympiakos had better start making 6-13 lead. Lottomatica replied with 10-5, but mostly owing to Mavrokefalides the Reds closed Q1 with 18-24. Second quarter was the crucial one as Olympiakos totally took control on their rival. They quickly jumped to plus 9 and later Bourousis and Halperin knocked down back-to-back long balls as the Olympiacos advantage extended to 14 points, 25-39 midway through the second quarter. Lottomatica came just one point closer for rest of the first half, 40-53. Nothing has changed after the breather as there was just one team playing on the court and it was Olympiakos. They managed to keep plus 13 before the last ten minutes, 55-68. The biggest 19-point lead Olympiakos reached after triple by Marko Keselj at the halfway of Q4 and all after that was just the formality. In the next round, Olympiakos goes to Madrid. Lottomatica will meet Brose Baskets in Bamberg.
